BREATHE Air Quality Monitor

I’ve only had this for a day but so far it’s already showing me what I was worried about a slightly elevated CO2 level when we run our propane stove fireplace. Despite the fact, I have a CO2 monitor in the house it must’ve been failing so I’m glad I purchased this.

I took this purchase rather seriously because I know full well how easy it is for less reputable sellers can put a bunch of past generation sensors into a shell, fake an OS, and then sell you a product that makes you feel good at a discount. Given Breathe Tech LTD is an actual registered company in the UK I took this as a safe bet that the product they are selling is up to scratch. I was not disappointed. From packaging to functionality its all been great. My sole critique would be that it would be nice if the battery lasted a bit longer, but then the size would have need to increase and we don't want that. Very pleased. Thanks for selling an honest product.

this is a nice little compact unit looks good. The screen as well illuminated the green and white colors offset each other. The font is nice and clear with all the pertinent information right there at your fingertips.

For the size this little hygrometer does a lot!The screen is colorful and the readings are easy to read. Each reading will change from Green-Yellow-Red depending on the health of the reading.I initially used the Breathe app but decided to use the Smart Life app to have all my sensors in one place. The Smart Life app gives you all the same features as the Breathe app and the management looks the same.I really like that this device has a built-in battery so you can take it to another room temporarily or travel with it on vacation.I wish there was a way to hang this on the wall somewhere but there is no slot in the back for a nail and even if you find a way to stick it to the wall the charging cable is in the way. So tabletop is the only option.I have another CO2 monitor and they seem to stay similar to each other which I Assume means it must be fairly accurate. It is pretty sensitive, for kicks I breathed on it for a little bit and the CO2 reading climbed very quickly to over 1000 ppm.The PM sensors also seem to be pretty sensitive. Once I removed old blankets from a closet nearby the readings rose quickly and alerted me.I am not convinced the temperature and humidity are very accurate. Compared to several other hygrometers I have, the temperature always shows lower and the humidity always shows higher. I feel like the other hygrometers are more accurate in this area.

VOCs are organic, volatile chemicals that tend to be reactive. Paint fumes would be an example. HCHO is formaldehyde.This has a clear, easy to read, modern screen. Compared to other monitors we have (Airthings, Alexa), this is by far the most stylish. The higher cost reflects that. This also has an internal battery, but battery life isn't terribly long. This NEEDS to be plugged in most of the time. Portable in this case would be rubbing on battery while driving to work and then plugging it in again. It isn't going to last days on a charge. It charges via usbc, and a cable is provided.Quality wise, this appears accurate. We have several other monitors by various brands. This is on par with other readings. This has a speaker too. If enabled, this will beep when air quality decrease. That is also a complaint, however. This alerts to changes quickly and often. It is almost too many. You can adjust the thresholds in the app; I recommend increasing them.The app is modern and polished. Setup was easy and painless. It is intuitive and easy to use.Overall I am happy with this, but I am a little disappointed in battery life. Other than that, this is a great fixed place monitor.

Very happy with this unit. During the summer when we have the AC running 24/7 and all the windows closed, it’s nice to know when we have to open up the windows and exchange some of the air in the house to bring down the CO2 levels. We’re able to see how our filters on the HVAC system does to keep the PM numbers low. One word of caution, if you have a humidifier, keep this unit at least 20 feet away as the fine mist from the humidifier can show up as a PM on the sensor (false positive.)

It works well. It was very easy to set up a d sync with wifi.The screen is large enough to be easily seen.And it is very easy to scroll through the different settings.The accuracy is good. I have another brand quality meter as well and they seem to read.Just about the same.The app took a little while for me to be able to figure out.But now that I have it is very easy to read and exporting the data is nice.

This BREATHE Air monitor is very handy to have if you are interested in knowing your indoor air quality. It has multiple alarm features to alert you to rising unhealthy conditions. It will come in handy to pinpoint various indoor contaminants affecting your indoor air quality

Nice beautiful CO2 sensor. For comparison I put it on another co2 sensor radoff. APP breathe, still needs some improvement, not very convenient.
